Our initiatives to raise awareness among young people
ACT FOR TOMORROW
Raising awareness among students at the University of Geneva through this recurring event organised by the International Association of Students in Economics and Business (AIESEC), the largest international non-profit organisation run entirely by students.
Its main objective is to promote leadership and international cooperation through voluntary and professional exchange programmes for students.
During the event, Action Education led workshops on the cross-cutting nature of MDG4 (access to quality education for all) through case studies of projects in the field.
During the event, a week was devoted to raising public awareness of the United Nations' 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Action Education presented its projects relating to MDG 5 (Achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls). The central impact of MDG 4 (access to quality education) on the other MDGs was also highlighted.
