Regular donations
Why make a regular donation?
Making a regular donation is one of the most effective ways of supporting Action Education Switzerland. Thanks to your monthly, quarterly, half-yearly or annual commitment, we can :

What support frequencies are possible?
We offer several donation frequency options to suit your budget and preferences:
- Monthly You provide regular, long-term support for our projects.
- Quarterly A good balance between flexibility and commitment.
- Half-yearly This allows you to take action twice a year.
- Annual This is ideal if you prefer to make a single payment each year.

How can I update my personal information?
If you have changed your address, bank details or any other information, please write to us at [email protected]. It is essential for us to have up-to-date information so that we can send you your tax receipt and keep you informed of the impact of your donation.
Or you can make the changes yourself at your donor space.
How do I make a regular donation?
You can set up a regular donation online via our secure site by opting for LSV on your bank account or by credit card. It is also possible to set up a payment order via a payment authorisation with right of objection with your bank (LSV) or via postfinance (DD+).
We provide transparent monitoring and you will receive regular updates on the impact of your contribution.
How can I change my regular donation?
If you wish to increase, reduce or suspend your donation, simply contact us by e-mail at [email protected] or call our Donor Relations department on +41 22 716 52 10 . We promise to deal with your request quickly and to support you throughout the process.
Where do my donations go? How do you use resources?
Action Education Switzerland ensures that the funds raised are used transparently and efficiently. Your donations are mainly allocated to our educational programmes for the most vulnerable populations. Our actions include :

A one-off donation is a one-off support that allows you to take immediate action in favour ofAction Education Switzerland. Every donation counts and makes a real difference.
What is the purpose of my one-off donation?
Your one-off donation directly funds the educational programmes supported by Action Education Switzerland. It can be used for :
- Continuing education from primary school to vocational training.
- The purchase of school supplies and teaching materials.
- Training teachers and improving teaching methods.

What are the tax benefits of making a donation?
Your donations to Action Education Switzerland donations are deductible from your taxable income, from your federal tax and according to the tax rules of your canton. You will receive a tax certificate at the beginning of the year for all your donations made in the previous year.
If you are an individual, you can deduct your donations from CHF 100 per yearup to a maximum of 20 % of your net taxable income. For companies, the deduction limit varies from canton to canton, but is generally equivalent to 20 % of net taxable profit.
Thanks to your generosity, you can support our actions in favour of education while benefiting from tax advantages. It's a gesture of solidarity that pays dividends!
When will I receive my tax certificate?
Your tax certificate will be sent to you automatically at the beginning of the following year (in February).
Legacies and donations
How can I leave a legacy to Action Education Switzerland?
A legacy is a provision in your will by which you bequeath all or part of your property to Action Education Switzerland. It is advisable to consult a notary to ensure that your wishes are respected.

What is the difference between a bequest and a donation?
A legacy takes effect after your death and is recorded in your will, whereas a donation is a transfer of property during your lifetime.
How do you draw up a will?
In Switzerland, a will can be drawn up in one of three ways:
- Olograph handwritten, dated and signed.
- Authentic drawn up with the help of a notary.
- Oral In exceptional circumstances, in the presence of witnesses.
Can I ask for my donation or legacy to be used for a specific project?
Yes, it is possible to specify a specific use for your donation or legacy. However, we recommend that you contact us beforehand to ensure that your wishes can be respected.
Do I need a notary for a gift, donation or bequest?
- For a donationHowever, a notary is not required.
- For a substantial donation or a legacyIn order to ensure the legal certainty of your approach, we recommend that you consult a notary.
Can I leave all my assets to Action Education Switzerland?
Yes, if you have no reserved heirs (descendants or surviving spouse). Otherwise, Swiss law imposes a reserved portion on these heirs, but you can bequeath part of your estate to Action Education Switzerland.
