Our struggles

Action Education is a development association committed to fighting inequality and exclusion through access to quality education for all.

We are working to ensure that every child, young person and adult, whatever their origin, gender or social situation, can learn and build a future for themselves.

Faced with the challenges of poverty, discrimination and the crises that hamper education, we are taking concrete action on the ground to guarantee inclusive, equitable and emancipating education. Defending the right to education

Currently, 250 million children and adolescents of primary and secondary school age do not have access to education. Action Education's objective is to ensure that every child, whether a girl or a boy, can benefit from his or her right to education.

Access and quality of education

Inadequate teaching and learning conditions lead millions of children to leave school without mastering basic skills. Action Education supports communities and governments in their educational initiatives.

Education for girls and women

Women and girls are still frequently excluded from access to education and the job market. Action Education deploys programmes to combat the gender inequalities that still prevent girls from gaining access to education.

Early childhood education

From the earliest age, children must be protected and have access to an education that enables them to develop in a balanced way, in order to facilitate their future social and educational integration.
