The aim of the project is to improve the completion rate of secondary school pupils, as well as the quality of their educational and socio-professional guidance, particularly for girls.
School enrolment indicators are very low in the Plateaux and Savanes regions. Because of its proximity to the capital, Lomé, the Maritime region welcomes rural populations from other parts of the country. This demographic dynamic has an impact on demand for education.
